Shipping Policy


For orders placed before 12pm NZST we endeavor to process the same business day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day. During sale events there may be a slightly longer processing time. All SSI Automotive orders are hand-picked and packed with love from New Zealand. If your location is classified as rural, we cannot guarantee overnight delivery, however, do pride ourselves on offering express service on all online orders. Once your order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive this email confirmation, please email our friendly customer support team at:




  • Standard Shipping: All orders under $500 will incur a $10 shipping fee. Typically has your order to your door within 3-7 working days (please allow an additional 1-2 days for rural delivery.)  
  • Free Shipping NZ Wide: For Orders over $500(excluding rural addresses.) Typically has your order to your door within 3-7 working days (please allow an additional 1-2 days for rural delivery.)  
  • Rural Address Fees:$20 per item, Shipping option at checkout. 
  • Business addresses preferred: We do have some products that can only be delivered to a business address. If this is the case for your order and you do not have a business address, we can send it to your local depot or to your local workshop if you plan on getting your products fitted professionally.

If you have paid by Bank deposit please note your order will be shipped once the payment clears.

Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier.

Duties and taxes on goods vary widely depending on the product value and the country you are having your order delivered to.

SSI Automotive will include a commercial invoice declaring the full dollar value paid on international shipments. If you refuse a shipment from SSI Automotive, you are responsible for the original shipping charges as well as the import and return fees that may be incurred upon delivery back to us.

SSI Automotive cannot mark international orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce customs fees.


  • All deliveries are made in normal business hours so make sure the address you give has someone there to sign for delivery.
  • Our products can come from different suppliers and therefore may arrive separately and/or at different times.
  • Business addresses are preferred! Local garages and workshops are a perfect location as someone will be able to sign for your parcel and it saves you transporting your purchase. 
  • We cannot 100% guarantee these freight times. Once the parcels are collected from dispatch locations they are subject to the freight carrier.
  • Signature required delivery only. Due to the value of goods being shipped we prefer to safeguard you from theft or fraudulent handling.
  • Please check your item/s when they arrive. Please do not sign for a damaged parcel.
  • If you have accidentally signed for the parcel before noticing damage please take photos before opening the parcel and contact our friendly sales team if there are any problems with the received products.
